Meet the team behind FireShield Insulation. As a two-person operation, we bring hands-on expertise, reliability, and pride to every project we take on.

With over 20 years in the trades, I bring a wealth of real-world experience and building-science knowledge to the FireShield team. My career has included everything from hands-on insulation work to energy auditing, giving me a unique perspective on how buildings perform and how to make them safer, more efficient, and longer-lasting.
Since becoming a certified Energy Auditor with Natural Resources Canada in 2017, I’ve helped hundreds of homeowners and builders improve comfort, air quality, and energy performance. Before co-founding FireShield, I owned and operated Peak Insulation in Wallaceburg for six years, earning a strong reputation for integrity, quality, and customer care.
I believe in doing things the right way, with craftsmanship, accountability, and pride in every project. Outside of work, I’m a proud husband and father of two hockey-loving kids. When I’m not on a job site or at the rink, you’ll find me on the golf course, travelling with my family, or enjoying a well-earned break from sitting in cold arenas.

At FireShield Insulation, I bring 15 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in industrial, commercial, and institutional projects.
Having spent over a decade with one of the largest insulation contractors in Ontario working in Toronto, London and Kitchener/Waterloo, Cambridge, Southwestern Ontario territories, I’ve built strong expertise in insulation, fireproofing, and fire stopping—the core services that define FireShield Insulation today.
Beyond the job, I’m a proud parent of three children (now adults with their own careers). When I’m not on-site, you’ll likely find me playing guitar, fishing, or golfing—passions that keep me energized and inspired.
